On 22 January 2024, UMPEDAC was involved with the exhibition of its product "Self-Cleaning Coating" at the Global Intellectual Discourse (Wacana Pemikir Global) 2024, which was organized by the University of Malaya. The event was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The Prime Minister visited the exhibition by Universiti Malaya's researchers after officiating the event. The "Self-Cleaning Coating" product for solar panels was demonstrated to the Prime Minister by Dr. Vengadeasvaran and Dr. Amirul Syafiq.
