Thirty (30) students of Kolej Yayasan UEM’s Electronics Club accompanied by Mr Michael Peter Allan visited HICoE UMPEDAC on 30th January 2024 (Tuesday) to explore the connections between Research & Development (R&D) of renewable energy systems and an electronics application in this niche. Students have been exposed to cutting-edge facilities and experienced knowledge about the academic and research activities conducted at HICoE UMPEDAC. An opportunity during the laboratory tour to the UMPEDAC Solar Garden, Solar PV Module Research Laboratory and Renewable Energy Research Laboratory have given firsthand experience of solar PV systems from their cell to the monitoring system beside other applications such as Solar PV Thermal Systems.
