With deep sorrow, we would like to inform you that the Executive Director of the Higher Institution Centre of Excellence (HICoE), UM Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC), Prof. Ir. Dr. Nasrudin Abd Rahim passed away yesterday, 11th November 2024 (1:17 pm) at UM Medical Centre.
Prof. Ir. Dr Nasrudin was a highly respected figure in power electronics and drives research. His contributions to the academic community and UMPEDAC have left a lasting legacy. He had exceptional leadership, dedication, patience and unwavering commitment to advancing power energy research.
May Allah forgive all his sins and grant him a place among the righteous and those who do good deeds.
